Diljit Dosanjha’s Hyderabad concert is part of his Dil-Luminati Tour to 10 cities across India.
Diljit Dosanjh made everyone tap their feet in Hyderabad when he performed in the city on Friday night as a part of his Dil-Luminati India Tour. During his mega show, the Punjabi singer-actor also extended Guru Nanak Jayanti’s wishes to his fans. In a video from the concert that Diljit shared on his Instagram handle, he was seen paying homage to Guru Nanak Dev along with his team.
In the caption of his post, Diljit shared the three pillars of Guru Nanak’s teachings: Kirat Karo (honest living), Naam Japo (chant), and Vand Shako (share with others). Watch the video here:
Diljit Dosanjha’s Hyderabad concert is part of his Dil-Luminati Tour, which will visit 10 cities across India. The singer kicked off his tour with a mega show in Delhi, followed by Jaipur. He will next perform in Ahmedabad.
Ahead of his Hyderabad show, Diljit Dosanjh also received a notice from the Telangana government which asked him not to sing songs at the event that promote alcohol, drugs or violence. The notice also warned Dosanjh not to “use children” during his show. It further said loud sounds and flashing lights during the concert are harmful to the children.
Based on a representation from a resident of Chandigarh, the notice was issued by the District Welfare Officer of the Department of Welfare of Women and Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens, Rangareddy. The representation, submitted with video evidence, said that Daljit Dosanjh had already sung songs promoting alcohol, drugs, and violence during a live show in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi last month, the notice pointed out.
