Police have exposed this incident. In which SP Neeraj Kumar Jadaun told that not only did the incident of robbery happen against the businessman, but he himself had carried out this conspiracy due to excessive debt.

SP Neeraj Kumar Jadaun said that in connection with the incident, the police checked the CCTV cameras installed at the petrol pump and the road CCTV cameras in the road behind Maulaganj intersection, Mahua Tola Chungi, Kanshiram Colony in nearby Shahabad and analyzed the CCTV footage. It is clear from the CCTV footage that the victim Rupesh had left his house on a Bullet motorcycle. It is clear from the CCTV that Rupesh did not have any bag with him.

During interrogation, Rupesh’s brother Rohit told that Rupesh had gone to Bilhari to collect some money from a shoe-slipper shop. When the shoe shop owner went to village Bilhari and inquired about it, it was found that he had not gone to village Bilhari. When the team investigated the incident thoroughly, a country-made pistol of 315 bore and a spent cartridge was found in the chamber of the pistol in the bushes at a distance of about 04 steps near the incident spot.

When the victim Rupesh was interrogated with these facts, he admitted that he had spread false robbery information by shooting himself with a pistol. There has been no incident of robbery with him. He also told that he was under extreme stress due to long pending dues and heavy borrowing of money by the defaulters.

SP said that advance legal action is being taken in relation to giving wrong information to the police, confusing them and creating an atmosphere of fear.
