Notification for application for Chanakya Fellowship in IIT BHU has been released. In this, the student will be given fellowship ranging from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 80 thousand every month. Students up to UG, PG, PhD and Post Doctoral can apply for this fellowship.

The process of application for Chanakya i.e. Comprehensive and Holistic Advancement of National Knowledge Yield and Analytics Fellowship will continue throughout the session. The cut off list of the applications received at the end of the month will be prepared. Selected B.Tech students will get Rs 10,000 fellowship and M.Tech students will get Rs 12,400 fellowship. Whereas in PhD, JRF will get Rs 37 thousand, SRF will get Rs 42 thousand and Post Doctoral Fellow will get Rs 80 thousand.
Work will have to be done on technology
The full name of this fellowship is TIH-IDAPT Chanakya Fellowship Programme. In this, work will have to be done on data analytics and predictive technology i.e. technology of the future. A proposal will have to be made for selection. This has to be uploaded along with the online application form. Candidates will be selected on the basis of quality of the proposal.

Fellowship duration and stipend
B.Tech students will get Rs 10,000 per month for 10 months. M.Tech students will get Rs 12,400 per month for one year and PhD students will get Rs 37,000 for JRF and Rs 42,000 for SRF for 3 years. Whereas Post Doctoral Fellow will be given Rs 80 thousand for 6 to 24 months.
