100% hand made goods have been displayed in the Handicraft Exhibition organized by Gramashree and ‘Craftroots’ at Safed Baradari, Lucknow. Efforts are being made to promote small scale industries and handicrafts through this exhibition.

A variety of hand-made clothes, jewelery and home decor items are available here. All the items at the stall at the exhibition have been checked to ensure that they are completely handmade.
Anil from Rajasthan has prepared a painting of Shri Krishna which costs three and a half lakh rupees.
Shri Krishna’s painting made with natural colors The attraction of this exhibition is the special painting of Shri Krishna, which has been made with natural colours. The value of the painting is Rs 3.5 lakh. It took about 6 months to prepare it. In the painting, a beautiful picture of Lord Shri Krishna has been carved with natural colors by mixing stone powder and tree gum.
Rajasthan architect Anil told that this painting has been prepared in ‘Dhaliya Craft’ style, which is a special art of Bhilwara region. This art is in demand not only in India but also abroad. Such paintings of Shri Krishna have been sent to America. The young generation is showing keen interest in learning this type of architecture.
A TV older than TV arrived at the exhibition Devendra, who came from Rajasthan to the exhibition, told that they display a unique art on wood, which is called Kavad. It is a type of performing art. In simple language it is called TV which is older than TV. This art is used to visualize any story.
This art is 400 years old. Items made of wood for decorating the house related to this art are available ranging from Rs 200 to Rs 2000. He has been doing this work for 20 years and is taking this art to different corners of the country.

Demand for Haryana’s footwear reaches China Amit Kumar, who came from Haryana, has set up a stall of ladies footwear. He told that ladies sandals and shoes have been prepared with attractive designs through hand craft. No machine of any kind is used in this.
Many experienced artisans work together to prepare these footwear with great precision. Foot wear is available from Rs 750 to Rs 2500. When you buy the same from a branded shop outside, its price is Rs 10 thousand, which is available here for Rs 2 thousand. Handmade footwear is sent from Dubai to China.

Increased demand for eco-friendly jewelery Tanisha Khandwala, who came from Pune, told that she has set up a stall of special jewelery made of wood and fabric. This jewelery is eco friendly. Its weight is very less. This jewelery is completely made by hand and the makers of it are all women. These days there is a lot of demand for eco-friendly jewelery in the market.

Customers said everything is available under one roof Anusha Srivastava, who came to the exhibition, said that she had come from America to meet her relative. When he got information about this exhibition, he visited here. Different and amazing goods are available at every stall in this exhibition.
We do not find this type of goods at all in foreign countries. That’s why I did a lot of shopping here today. The good thing is that we are getting all types of hand made goods under one roof.

Display of art from 18 states Exhibition organizer Anar Patel said that this wonderful exhibition has been organized by Craft Route. The exhibition will remain open till 19th November. It has more than 80 stalls from 18 states. This is the first exhibition in Lucknow in which crafts from the entire country are available. All the artisans coming here are properly selected.
100% hand made items are present in this exhibition. All types of goods will be available here from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Its main objective is to make people aware of indigenous art. The aim is to show the youth who are dependent on machines in the age of technology, how wonderful the art of our country is.
