In Azamgarh, patient died due to negligence of ambulance personnel, family members created ruckus.
Dharamsen Singh, 60, son of Tilakdhari Singh, resident of Raisinghpura village of Tehbarpur police station area of Azamgarh district, died due to the negligence of the ambulance worker. Along with this, the doctors asked to take the family home and serve them. The family booked a private ambulance from Varanasi to admit Dharamsen Singh to the District Hospital, Azamgarh. The doctor had said that his oxygen should not be exhausted.

The ambulance driver assured that he had oxygen. Apart from that there are two extra oxygen. Dharamsen Singh’s daughter and other relatives were present. But after leaving Varanasi, the oxygen level started falling after some time. When the family talked to the ambulance driver about this, he said that due to increase in saturation level, oxygen was depleting quickly. So reduce it.
Oxygen was not available after reducing it. When the family asked them to take extra oxygen if needed, the driver assured them that it would not run out. The oxygen he has will suffice.
But the oxygen ran out before reaching the district hospital in Azamgarh. Dharamsen Singh died on reaching the district hospital. After this the family members created a ruckus over the negligence of the ambulance driver. After the information, police personnel reached the spot. Somehow the family members were appeased and pacified.
But the manner in which the injured patient was brought by the ambulance personnel by cheating and the manner in which he died due to lack of oxygen. He raised the question. As soon as her father died due to lack of oxygen, daughter Amrita Singh started crying.
