The 76th NCC Day was celebrated with great pomp in the city today in Unnao. The grand parade march organized by 57th UP Battalion attracted the attention of the entire city. The program was inaugurated by social activist and founder of Nar Seva Narayan Seva, Vimal Dwivedi, Left.

The huge crowd gathered at the parade venue appreciated the discipline and dedication of the NCC cadets. Cadets from various schools and colleges took part in the parade and displayed their patriotism and confidence. The procession passed through the main roads of the city and returned to the parade venue.

Vimal Dwivedi said in his address, “NCC instills discipline and patriotism among the youth. This is very important for nation building.” Lieutenant Vipin Singh described NCC as “a movement” and said it inspires youth for leadership and social service. While praising the contribution of the cadets, Ravi Ranjan said, “This parade is a symbol of the dedication and devotion of our youth.”
Cultural presentations and patriotic songs enthralled the programme. At the conclusion the cadets were felicitated and wished for their bright future.
