In Firozabad, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder of Samajwadi Party and popularly known as the Son of the Earth, a grand procession was organized in the city on Sunday. This journey starts from Rasulpur Shaheed Chowk and ends at Lohia Park located in Gandhi Park.

The program was inaugurated by chief guest MP Ramjilal Suman by cutting the ribbon. Recalling the contribution of Netaji, he said that Mulayam Singh Yadav was well-wisher of farmers, poor and every section of the society. He always promoted the values of socialism. On this occasion, Jayanti President Vimal Yadav said that we celebrate Netaji’s birth anniversary every year on 22nd November. This is our third procession, which has received immense support from all sections of the society.
Hundreds of people participated in the procession with tableaux and banners symbolizing socialist ideology. During the march, the atmosphere became sombre and enthusiastic due to the echo of drums and patriotic slogans. Netaji’s contribution and his ideas were discussed in the meeting held at Lohia Park.
The speakers called for inspiration from his life. The meeting concluded with a pledge to carry forward his ideals. SPs participated enthusiastically in this procession. SP resolved to implement Netaji’s ideals in their lives.
