Aadhaar Card Update Deadline Details: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced that individuals can update their Aadhaar details—such as name, address, or date of birth—free of cost until December 14, 2024. The process is entirely online, allowing users to update their information from the comfort of their homes.

Steps to Update Aadhaar Online for Free

- Navigate to Update Section: Under ‘My Aadhaar,’ select ‘Update Your Aadhaar.’
- Access Update Page: Click on ‘Update Aadhaar Details (Online)’ and choose ‘Document Update.’
- Enter Credentials: Provide your Aadhaar number and Captcha, then click ‘Send OTP.’
- Login with OTP: Use the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Choose Details to Update: Select the fields to update, such as name or address.
- Upload Documents: Submit updated details and the necessary documents.Submit Request: Complete the process and save the Update Request Number (URN) for tracking.
Important Notes
Biometric Changes: Updates involving biometrics (iris, fingerprints, mobile number, or photograph) must be done offline.
One-Time Updates: Date of birth and gender can only be updated once.

- Download Form: Access the Aadhaar enrolment/update form from the UIDAI website.
