Drain construction was being done from Panchayat funds.
Drain construction work was going on in the village from the area Panchayat fund. Meanwhile, there was a dispute between Gajendra and Rajan regarding the construction of the drain. The dispute escalated so much that both sides attacked each other with sticks and bricks and stones.
Teenager injured while passing by
Amidst the fight, a girl passing through the road got hit by stone pelting and was seriously injured. The family members immediately informed the police. Police reached the spot and sent the girl to the district hospital for treatment.
The attackers ran away as soon as the police arrived
On information of fight and stone pelting, Magorra police station in-charge Mohit Tomar reached the village with the police force. As soon as the police arrived, people from both sides ran away from the spot. The station in-charge said that talks have been held with the villagers to maintain peace.
Action will be taken on receipt of application
Police station in-charge Mohit Tomar said that there was a fight between two parties regarding the construction of the drain. At present the situation is under control. Necessary action will be taken on receipt of the application.
