The family had gone to the wedding and the house was stolen from behind.
In village Datawali of Bhavanpur police station area of Meerut, thieves broke the lock of a locked house and committed theft. The thieves carried out the theft in the house with complete calmness. Searched through cupboards, boxes and even the bed box. Thieves took away from the house jewellery, utensils and piggy banks.

The family had gone to aunt’s house for a bhaat ceremony.
Sonveer told that he did not even leave the money in the child’s piggy bank.
Somveer, a resident of Datawali, told that on Saturday the whole family had gone to aunt’s place to buy rice. The house was locked. On Sunday the neighbors called and informed that the lock of your house was open. Stuff is scattered. Then we reached home. When I saw, the whole house was scattered. Cupboards, boxes, beds were all lying open. Whatever gold, silver jewellery, cash there was in the house was stolen.
They took everything they could get their hands on.
The lady of the house, Urmila, told that the thieves took away the expensive sarees she had bought for the wedding.
Somveer’s mother Urmila told that the gold and silver ornaments of both my daughter-in-law and me were gone. It was a wedding house so all the stuff was there. We had bought expensive sarees to wear in the wedding, that too was stolen. The thieves did not leave anything behind. They also broke the child’s piggy bank and took away his money. The house papers were also taken away. The thieves took away whatever was in the house. The family has filed a report of unknown theft.
The family had gone to Modinagar Somveer told that he is a collection agent in a finance company. On Saturday, he along with his family had gone to the wedding ceremony at his aunt’s house in village Sikheda Hazari of Modinagar police station.
