Marshall Brickman, the Oscar-winning screenwriter known for his work with Woody Allen on films such as Annie Hall and Manhattan, has passed away at the age of 85. Brickman, who also co-wrote the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys, contributed to many of Johnny Carson’s memorable sketches on The Tonight Show and wrote for The Muppet Show.
