A big demonstration of disabled people was seen today in Banda, UP. Under the banner of Janata Dal United Disabled Cell, hundreds of disabled people took out a procession and reached the Collectorate, raising slogans against the government and administration.

Where the memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister has been submitted to District Magistrate Banda. In the memorandum, there has been a demand to link all disabled people with Antyodaya ration card, restoration of stalled pension of disabled old people and widows, providing free electricity to disabled people and giving one free gas cylinder in three months.

Disabled people are not getting facilities even in roadways buses.

Along with this, there has been a demand to implement the Disability Act 2016 at the grassroots level. Disabled people say that they are beaten up on a daily basis. If the person who assaults them is their relative or blood relative, then a case is not filed against him.

Along with this, disabled people are also not getting facilities in roadways buses. Disabled people demand that action should be taken against all these accused under the Disability Act 2016. Along with this, 11 demands have been submitted to the Chief Minister, including getting the disabled people examined and provided housing.
