Dock station empty even after 20 months The company was to provide e-cycle facility at 62 postal stations. For this, dock stations were built across the city. But even after 20 months the company could not park 620 e-cycles at the post stations. In such a situation, Noida Traffic Cell (NTC) has now issued a notice to blacklist the e-cycle operator Turban Mobility Company, because the company did not live up to the expectations of the authority.
Started on Noida Foundation Day Let us tell you that this was an ambitious project for the then CEO of Noida Authority, which took four years to come to fruition. After its launch, this project has failed badly. The authority handed over the responsibility of operating the e-cycle in two phases to Turban Mobility Company on the foundation day of Noida Authority on 17 April 2023. In which the company had to start 100 percent operation of the first phase at 31 postal stations in four months. But it failed to complete till date.
Allocation of second phase not completed Meanwhile, the company management, in connivance with the NTC officials, got the work of the second phase allotted, in which e-cycles were to be operated at 31 more postal stations. Its term had also ended in October 2023.
But the company could not complete the work of operating the e-cycle even after one year of expiry of the period. Noida Traffic Cell General Manager SP Singh said that a notice has been issued to blacklist the company manager.
The company said Phase-1 complete Turban Mobility Director Chandra Mohan Bali said that as per the Request for Proposal (RFP), the company is working as per the terms and conditions. Phase one work is going on smoothly. The post station which is not operational is of Phase 2.
A public survey was conducted for the location of Face 2, the report of the survey was presented to the CEO of the authority. Approval was given by him to the concerned authorities, but till date permission has not been received on the proposal.
