Last night a tile fell heavily on a family in Pilibhit. One woman died in the accident, while four other members were injured. The people of the village reached the spot, removed the debris and took out the injured.

Ramoutar, a resident of Jitoria Tanda village of Puranpur police station area, was sleeping with his family in a tiled house last night. Suddenly, in the night, the roof collapsed and five members were buried under the debris. After the incident, the people of the village immediately reached the spot and conducted a rescue operation. He removed all the injured by removing the debris and sent them to the Community Health Center Puranpur. Rajeshwari Devi, a 50-year-old woman, was declared dead at the Community Health Center Puranpur. At the same time, four people including three innocent children were injured, who are undergoing treatment.
Villagers’ anger, negligence of police and revenue team
Villagers said that information about the incident was given to the police and revenue team in the night itself, but they did not reach the spot. The villagers are angry with this negligence and are demanding action. Puranpur police station chief Naresh Kumar Tyagi confirmed the incident and said that the matter is being investigated.
