After a year of announcing their relationship, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco stepped into a new chapter of their lives and got engaged. On Wednesday, December 11, the 32-year-old posted a bunch of pictures flaunting her precious new ring and obviously her fiance, writing, “Forever begins now..” The announcement left everyone pleasantly surprised, and many of the couple’s loved ones flocked in to congratulate them on their new beginning.

While congratulatory comments from Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Nina Dobrev, Lily Collins, Jennifer Aniston, Gordon Ramsay and many others were nothing new, an unexpected nod from Justin Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, caught everyone’s attention.

Hailey, who is said to be having a longstanding feud with Selena, liked the announcement post, even though she has now removed it. The Who Says singer’s fan page noted the Rhode founder’s gesture and shared it on X, leading to a discussion on the internet.

Speaking of Selena, the actor-singer is living her best life at present. She not only got engaged to Benny Blanco but also received two Golden Globe nominations for her roles in Emilia Pérez and Only Murders in the Building. She will soon start filming the fifth season of the comedy-drama series Only Murders in the Building, co-starring Steve Martin and Martin Short.

On the other hand, Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber recently welcomed their first child, Jack Blue Bieber, in August of this year. The Canadian singer shared the happy news with millions of his fans through a social media post. At the end of November, the Rhode founder posted a bunch of pictures on her Instagram account, sharing how she spent the “best month of the year” with her two favourite boys: her husband and their son.

The post opened with an adorable family picture, where the three were enjoying a stroll together. Hailey included some glimpses of some products from her beauty brand, a few of her stylish outfits and a handful of photos of food.
