Police security has been increased at the house of Congress District President.

About 500 Congressmen came out from Kanpur The District President said that 400 to 500 Congressmen have reached Lucknow in about 15 to 20 big and small vehicles. Congressmen have left under the leadership of Mahesh Dixit, Dilip Shukla, Lallan Awasthi, Asif Iqbal, Sandeep Nishad, Rakesh Nigam, Manish Bajpayee, Bhuvnesh Bhushan, Arif Pehalwan and Salman.

More than two dozen leaders under house arrest The District President said that many leaders including Alok Mishra, Pawan Gupta, Naushad Alam Mansoori, Vikas Awasthi, Sanjeev Daryabadi, Vishal Sonkar have been placed under house arrest.

Congress leader Vikas Awasthi has also been placed under house arrest. The police have served notices to about 1000 Congressmen not to go to the protest. At the same time, force has been increased at the houses of detained leaders.
