On Wednesday, under the leadership of Municipal Corporation Tax Assessment Officer Neeraj Patel, the Municipal Corporation, Enforcement Team and Health Department team conducted a raid on the warehouse of Asha Cargo Movers Private Limited Company near Bamba intersection. The action caused a stir. The team recovered banned polythene packets. Upon investigation, the weight of the polythene was around 2 tonnes.
Supplies were made to small shopkeepers Due to this action the employees working there ran away. At the same time, the team seized the banned polythene, loaded it in a truck and sent it to the Municipal Corporation. The tax assessment officer said that penalty action is being taken against the warehouse owner concerned. There is a complete ban on the use of banned polythene. Despite this, polythene was kept in the warehouse on a large scale. From here every polythene used to reach small and retail shopkeepers. This polythene has been confiscated. This action of the team created panic among the shopkeepers.
