The government has released a special package of Rs 29 crore to repair flood damaged roads in Pilibhit district. This amount has been approved on the advocacy of Union Minister of State Jitin Prasad. Under this package, 92 roads in the four assemblies of the district will be constructed.

Strict action will be taken against responsible officials
The roads connecting many villages were damaged due to the recent floods. The condition of many roads was so bad that more potholes and less road were visible. In the meeting of the condition committee, public representatives informed this problem to Union Minister Jitin Prasad. The minister raised it at the government level. After which this package was approved.
Jitin Prasad has directed the officials of the Public Works Department that all road construction works should be completed on time and with quality. He has given a strict warning that if any irregularities are found in the construction work, strict action will be taken against the responsible officials.
