A woman from Sinduria area of Maharajganj has accused her husband’s friend of forcibly raping her. On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case against the accused and started investigation.

According to the woman, due to financial constraints her husband had gone to Nepal for labour. There he became friends with the accused. After this the accused kept coming and going to their house for three years. The woman told that her husband was not at home on December 15.
Police are investigating the matter
At around 3 o’clock in the night, the accused forcibly entered the house and raped her. If the woman protested, he threatened to kill her. Hearing the woman’s scream, her sister reached the spot, but by then the accused ran away from there abusing her. Sinduria police station incharge Akhilesh Verma said that a case has been registered against the accused on the basis of the woman’s complaint. The case is being investigated.
