Politics has heated up in Parliament over the objectionable statement given by Home Minister Amit Shah on the creator of the Constitution and Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Samajwadi Party workers demonstrated strongly against this statement in Jaunpur on Wednesday.

Under the leadership of District President Rakesh Maurya, SP leaders, officials and workers marched from PWD Tirahe to Ambedkar Park. After paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi, he paid tribute by garlanding the statue of Dr. Ambedkar in Ambedkar Park. After this, party workers demonstrated with pictures of Babasaheb and raised slogans.

“Amit Shah’s statement is an insult to the country and the Constitution.” District President Rakesh Maurya said, “Home Minister Amit Shah has insulted Babasaheb, which is an insult not only to the Constitution but to the entire country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should immediately dismiss Amit Shah and apologize to the country.”

Former MLA Lal Bahadur Yadav and former District Panchayat President Raj Bahadur Yadav also reacted sharply. He said, “It is unfortunate to insult the creator of the Constitution due to which Amit Shah is in Parliament today. If the Prime Minister does not take steps, the Samajwadi Party will take this movement to the national level.”

Hundreds of SPs participated in the demonstration Many senior SP leaders and workers were present in this demonstration. Hundreds of SP workers including Vice President Shyam Bahadur Pal, State Secretary Bhanu Maurya, former President Rajbahadur Yadav, Ajay Srivastava, Deepak Jaiswal, Kamaluddin Ansari participated in the demonstration.
