In Sarurpur village of Baghpat, people of Muslim community protested against their graveyard. They allege that a person from the village, along with 20-25 of his companions, wants to forcibly find a way through the 200-year-old graveyard.

People of Muslim community told that when they protested against this work, the person started fighting. The people of the community wanted to build a boundary wall of the cemetery, but the said person stopped them and forcibly started construction work to make way.
Gave assurance of appropriate action
The people of the society say that there was never any path through the cemetery, but now the path is being built with arrogance. Despite their complaints, the authorities have not taken any concrete action yet. People of Muslim community reached the collectorate regarding this problem. Memorandum submitted to DM Jitendra Pratap Singh. The DM has assured to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
