In Andaura village of Kamasin police station area of Banda, a young man under the influence of alcohol committed suicide by shooting himself with a pistol. The deceased Sonu Chaturvedi (22) was addicted to alcohol. On receiving information about the incident, the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.

Police is investigating the matter
According to family members, Sonu went to his room after having dinner at night. When he did not come out of the room in the morning, his sister-in-law Radha went inside and looked. Sonu’s blood soaked body was lying on the cot in the room.
Elder brother Buddha told that Sonu was addicted to drinking and was also drunk on the night of the incident. Police station in-charge Rajesh Maurya said that it is a case of suicide. Sonu was the youngest among three brothers. Police has started the investigation of the matter.
