The whole matter is of Badavad village of Binauli police station area, where Arjun, 15 year old son of Arun, resident of Pindora village of Shamli district, was studying at his maternal grandfather Jaiveer’s place in Badavad village, the seventh maternal home of his mother Sonia. Late on Tuesday evening he returned after studying from a public school located in Gurana village. When he came home and the phone started working, his mother Sonia scolded him by saying that he should eat food first and then use the phone. Angered by this, the student committed suicide by hanging himself on a rosewood tree standing on the bank of the pond outside the village.

Local people informed the police

Villagers living in the neighborhood saw something hanging on a tree, which on going closer revealed that the student was hanging. Whose information was given to other villagers. The villagers informed the police station. Police reached the spot after receiving information and took possession of the student’s body and sent it for post-mortem.

Police engaged in investigation

Inspector Kuldeep Sirohi said that a student had committed suicide. The reason for which is being said to be scolding from a relative. The body has been sent for postmortem on Panchnama so that the cause of death can be clearly known. At present the entire matter is being investigated.
