In Rudrapur, Deoria, late on Tuesday night, a brother killed his own sister by hitting her with an iron rod. Police reached the spot after getting information and arrested the accused brother. The mother of the deceased told that the daughter had returned home late. When his brother asked the reason, he started fighting.

Now read what is the whole matter Rani Gupta (35 years old), son of late Prabhunath Gupta, resident of Lala Toli ward of Rudrapur Nagar Panchayat of the district, reached home after roaming around at around 9:30 pm. When her family questioned her about coming home late at night, she started fighting with them.
During that time, brother Brahma Gupta (20 years) interrupted and she got into a fight with him too. Enraged by this, the brother attacked the queen with an iron rod kept in the house. He died on the spot in the deadly attack. At around 11 pm, Rani Gupta’s mother Savitri Devi informed the police about the incident.
Rudrapur Kotwal Ratan Kumar Pandey, who reached the spot, took Rani Gupta lying in the house to CHC Rudrapur, where the doctor declared her dead. On receiving information about the incident, new SP Vikrant Veer, Additional Superintendent of Police Deependra Nath Chaudhary and CO Anshuman Srivastava reached Rudrapur.

SP told- SP Vikrant Veer told – Lala Toli Mohalla of Rudrapur police station of the district. Here tonight, Savitri Devi informed at the police station that her daughter Rani Gupta, aged 35 years, has been murdered by her real brother Brahma Gupta by hitting her on the head with a rod.
On receiving this information, the police immediately reached the spot and took the accused into their custody. The dead body has also been taken into custody. A complaint is being taken by the victim. Clue team is collecting evidence from the spot
