The traders submitted a memorandum to DCP South Nipun Aggarwal. Traders told the DCP that Alambagh Natkheda Road is a major retail and wholesale market. Every day people come here from areas like Krishna Nagar, Banthra, Sarojini Nagar, Ashiana, Telibagh and PGI to shop. Along with this, traders expressed concern about the increasing incidents with women. Demanded to increase patrolling of women police in the markets for the safety of women.
Manish Arora said that the arbitrariness of battery rickshaw drivers outside shops has increased. Besides, minor e-rickshaw drivers have also become a problem. He demanded that legal action be taken against them. Police patrolling should be tightened. On this occasion, DCP South Nipun Aggarwal seriously listened to the problems of the traders and assured appropriate action.
