In Lalitpur, at 7 pm on Tuesday, a woman walking on the highway was hit from behind by an unknown vehicle. Due to which he died. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem. Family members told that the woman

8 year old Shashi’s wife Chandrabhan, resident of village Bamhori Sir under Kotwali Talbehat, had gone to Talbehat on Tuesday to work as a labourer. She was returning after working at 7 o’clock in the evening. When she reached NH-44 near the village on foot. Then an unknown vehicle crushed him from behind. Due to which she got seriously injured. When the family came to know, they reached the spot. Took to Talbehat Health Center for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead. Family members told that the deceased had two children. She was supporting the family by working as a labourer.
The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem.
