Bharatiya Janata Party released the list of Mandal Presidents of Jhansi on Tuesday night. The organization changed 10 Mandal Presidents of Jhansi-Babina Assembly, while two old Mandal Presidents have been given another chance.
,
All the divisional presidents of Babina Assembly were changed. Even the Mandal President, behind whom the veterans had thrown their strength, could not save his chair. However, an effort has been made to woo his camp by making him a district representative. On the other hand, an attempt was also made to solve the caste equation.
250 people had claimed to become Mandal President
After the formation of booth committees in BJP, the election process for Mandal President was started. When nominations were held on 14th and 15th December, there was a queue of contenders for every seat. More than 250 active members in 25 mandals of metropolitan and rural areas laid claim to the post of Mandal President.
After this, leaders and public representatives became active and started trying hard to make their favorites the Mandal President. Most of the discussion started regarding city division and Chirgaon division. After which the announcement of the Divisional President got delayed and a situation of suspense was created. Now as soon as the election process for District President started, BJP announced the post of Mandal President.
The party has changed the faces of 10 out of 12 divisional presidents of Jhansi and Babina assembly of the metropolis. Only Nirmal Kushwaha from Premnagar and Dilip Puri from Shivaji Nagar have been able to return, while new faces have been given opportunities in all the 7 divisions of Babina Legislative Assembly.
For the first time a woman became the board president
Efforts have always been made to increase the participation of women in BJP, but women have rarely got the opportunity to become officials in the organization. But, for the first time a woman has been selected for the post of Mandal President. Dr. Shikha Sahu has been given the responsibility of President in Babina Cantt Division.
6 Division President made District Representative
Caught in confusion due to the advocacy of public representatives and veterans of the organization, BJP also tried to solve the equation by making 6 divisional presidents as district representatives. In this, the conflict between leaders on two seats had come into discussion. There was a fight between Hemant Khantal in Chirgaon division and Abhishek Jain in city division. The party made both of them district representatives.
Along with this, Sanjeev Pataria had the strongest claim in Sipri Mandal, but he was defeated by age. Therefore the party made him the district representative. Apart from these, Hariom Soni in Baruasagar, Manoj Shriwas in Babina Rural and Anirudh in Sadar Cantt have also been removed from the position of Mandal President and made District Representatives.
