Government medicines and injections were stolen from the district hospital in Muzaffarnagar. Chief Pharmacist Harish Uniyal, while registering a case in the city police station, has made serious allegations against Gulshanwar son of Shaukeen Khan, resident of Madina Colony of Civil Line police station area.

According to Harish Uniyal, from 27 February 2024 to 5 November 2024, medicines and injections being brought from the drug warehouse to the hospital in a government vehicle were being stolen. The warehouse is situated near Bamanhedi Railway Over Bridge. The medicines would disappear even before reaching the hospital.

City Kotwali Police has started investigation in this case by registering a case under section 316 (2) of Crime Number 12/2025 BNS. Police say that considering the seriousness of the case, every aspect will be thoroughly investigated.

According to the FIR lodged, Gulshanwar used to bring medicines, injections and related vouchers from the warehouse in a government vehicle. But he used to make the medicines disappear. When this theft case was caught, there was a stir in the district hospital.

An attempt was made to talk to Chief Pharmacist Harish Uniyal, but he did not receive the call. At the same time, CMS Dr. Rakesh said that he is not aware of the case being filed, but he is definitely aware of the case of theft of medicines in the hospital.

No officer is ready to give a clear statement in the entire matter, due to which it is feared that this could be a big case of embezzlement of government medicines and injections. Officials are trying to suppress it. City Kotwali police say that a case has been registered. The entire matter is being investigated.
