The way has been paved for the establishment of interstate bus terminal in Ballia. On Thursday, an order for land reclamation was issued in favor of the Transport Department.

According to Chief Revenue Officer Tribhuvan, 5.0604 hectares of land has been identified in village Chand Diyar of Tehsil Bairia for this project, which has been pending for more than a year.
Important role in the overall development of the region
This important decision was taken after obtaining permission from the Uttar Pradesh Government after close supervision and monitoring of the District Magistrate. The establishment of the new bus terminal will not only provide convenience to the local public. Rather, it will also play an important role in the overall development of the region.
This project is expected to give a new direction to the pace of development of Ballia. This terminal will facilitate inter-state passenger transportation as well as create new employment opportunities in the region.
