Many important issues were raised in the meeting of the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Committee held under the chairmanship of DM Nikhil Tikaram Funde in the Collectorate Auditorium of Chandauli. District President of Veterans Association Vijay Narayan Yadav demanded the establishment of a martyr memorial in the district.

– Age wise physical efficiency criteria in re-recruitment
– Due respect to ex-servicemen in administrative offices
District spokesperson Manidev Chaturvedi said that the problems of the soldiers and their families will be taken seriously. DM assured positive action on all issues. Many senior ex-military officers and soldiers were present in the meeting.
