On Wednesday night at around 9 pm, woman devotee Indu Sharma, resident of Jammu, was going to Prem Mandir in an e-rickshaw with her husband Khajuriya. As soon as she reached near the Tourist Facilitation Centre, two miscreants riding a bike who came from behind snatched her purse and mobile. After receiving the complaint about this incident, the police was searching for the miscreants.

The miscreants fired 8 rounds at the police. Vrindavan Police and SOG team surrounded the miscreants and retaliated. In which both the miscreants got injured by being shot in the leg. The injured miscreants were arrested by the police and sent to the hospital for treatment.

This was recovered

The miscreant who snatched from the female devotee was Shivam, a resident of Govind Nagar police station, Mahavidya Colony, Mathura and Mohit alias Moti, a resident of Ramlila Maidan. Police recovered one mobile, Rs 15,000 in cash, power bank, two pistols and 15 cartridges from the miscreants, besides the numberless bike used in the crime.
