BR Chopra cried after listening to the song of Baghban: Dharmendra refused to watch the film after seeing the chemistry of Hema Malini and Big B

It has been 20 years since the film Baghban was released. People liked the on-screen chemistry of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in the film released in 2003. When producer BR Chopra heard the film’s song ‘Main Yahaan Tu Wahaan’, he started crying.

The news was that Dharmendra had refused to watch the film after seeing the chemistry between Hema Malini and Big B. Salman Khan also worked in this film. However, father Salim Khan did not like his acting very much.

BR Chopra cried after listening to ‘Main here tu there’
The song ‘Main Yahan Tu Wahan’ from the film Baghban still makes people cry. The lyrics of this song were written by lyricist Sameer Anjaan. He had revealed in an interview that the makers had demanded him to sing as per the scene. When he came to know that Amitabh Bachchan himself would sing this song, he immediately wrote the song. After this he met the film’s producer B.A. Chopra. B.R. Chopra’s wife had died a few days before this meeting.

Sameen just told him the line ‘Main yahan tu wahan’. He demanded to recite the next line. When Sameer recited the next line ‘Main yahan tu wahan, zindagi hai kahan’, BR Chopra started crying. He felt that Sameer had written this line keeping him and his wife in mind. This line perfectly suited BR Chopra’s situation at that time.

Dharmendra did not see the film
There were reports that Dharmendra had decided not to watch the film Baghban after seeing the chemistry between Big B and Hema Malini. When Hema Malini was asked about these news, she replied, I don’t know anything about this.

Salman Khan played the role of Alok Malhotra in the film. Mahima Chaudhary was seen in the role of his wife.

Hema did not want to work in gardening
Hema Malini had shared another incident related to the film. When he got the offer of this film for the first time, he refused to do the work. Actually, Hema was told that she had to play the role of a mother of four elder children. As soon as she heard the script, Hema started wondering how she could play such a role. At this time his mother was also with him. He told Hema the value of the film and said that she should not leave such a powerful role. Then on mother’s insistence, Hema agreed to do the film.

Father Salim Khan did not like Salman’s acting
Salman Khan also worked in the film. He was seen in the role of Big B and Hema Malini’s adopted child. Salman’s acting, seen in a soft look, was greatly appreciated by the audience but his father Salim Khan did not like his acting. Because of this, Salman felt that he had failed.
