The first season of the web show ‘Aspirants’ was released on TVF’s YouTube in 2021. This is the story of three friends, who are taking coaching in Delhi with the dream of passing UPSC. Further in the story, it is shown that all three friends have a dream of becoming IAS, but only one of them is successful. In this series of five episodes, the story has been shown in an excellent style.
In this film, Naveen Kasturia, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Abhilash Thapliyal, Sunny Hinduja, Namita Dubey have played their respective characters well. Apoorva Singh is the director of this series. This series became so popular among the people that the makers had to make its spin offs ‘Sandeep Bhaiya’, ‘SK Sir’ and these also became very popular.
The team of ‘Aspirants’ recently gave an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, where they openly told the stories of their life and also shared what changes came in their life due to the series ‘Aspirants’. Let us tell you, the second season of Aspirants will be released on Amazon Prime from October 25.
I want to learn something from every character
When the cast was asked how much change there is in the second season from the first season, Sunny said, ‘Sandeep Bhaiya’ is a therapy for me. I have learned a lot from him. I always try to learn the good things about whatever character I get to play. I feel that there was a lot to learn in my character of ‘Sandeep Bhaiya’. Somewhere this character has made me grow and taught me to love people. There will never be any decrease in love, I wish it only increases.
Got recognition from ‘aspirants’
Naveen told that where the story of the first season ended, the story of the second season begins from there. Once again the friends from season 1 have met after so many years. In comparison to the circumstances under which these people left each other in Season 1, today they all are at a different stage of life, in different circumstances. All of them have definitely settled down a bit in their lives.
Now, how is their relationship with each other, and what are the events in the story due to which the chemistry between them goes up and down, all this has been shown in Season 2. Abhilash also told that the audience will get the answers of the first season in this season.
It feels good when people recognize the character by name.
What has changed in your real life? On this matter, Abhilash said, ‘I started the web journey from Season 1, and now it was very fun to be on the same set once again. I got a chance to experiment with what new things can be tried with the character I played three years ago.
When the team was asked what they had to say about the fan following and increased following among the film makers, Abhilash said, ‘It was good luck that after the project of Season 1, I got a chance to do films with some good film makers. . Even today, if I go out anywhere, people know me only by the name of my character. Not many people know my name.
It is a compliment for any actor when people recognize him by the name of his character. Got a chance to see a different journey with the film makers. Although I started with films, I did not get the opportunity to see new sets with such film makers which I got now.
Shivankit told that mimicry does not help
Shivankit said, ‘I came to know what acting is. I have become a more confident actor than ever before. The way I started during Season 1 and Apoorva sir directed me, I feel I have evolved as an actor. I had not done long form acting. To be honest, people do not consider short form comedy actors as actors in the true sense. I wanted this graph that if people consider this kind of form as an actor, then let’s do this too.
I wanted to play the actor’s art in long form, which I had never done before. Giving his opinion, Abhilash said that mimicry is a kind of art form. It is wrong to compare it with acting.
Shivankit further said that mimicry does not help. One gets work only by doing such seasons. By doing mimicry people laugh and go home, but they do not get work. You will definitely get the love of the audience, but you will not get the love of your work. Namita told that because of the aspirants, her life has become much better.
Shivankit said- I do not believe in second chance
What do you think about second chances? On this Shivankit said that he does not believe in second chance. He said that he feels bad about second chances. Abhilash said, ‘Second chances never end, as long as there is life, we keep getting them.’
