Aamir was hesitant in pulling Karisma’s hair: Then the actress said – I have seen grandfather Raj Kapoor doing this, I have no problem.

There was a scene in the 1996 superhit film Raja Hindustani, in which Aamir pulls Karisma’s hair vigorously. Aamir was initially hesitant to film this scene. He did not feel it was right to do this with Karishma.

The film’s director Dharmesh Darshan also found Aamir’s words correct. He decided to change the scene. Then Karisma Kapoor met Dharmesh Darshan. He said that you can complete this scene comfortably. They have no objection to this.

Karisma said that her grandfather Raj Kapoor has done this in films and real life. That’s why he has no problem in doing such scenes. After this Dharmesh convinced Aamir for this scene.

Talking to Laharen, director Dharmesh Darshan said- We were shooting the song ‘Tere Ishq Mein Nachenge’. I told Aamir that you have to pull Karishma’s hair in anger. Aamir became a little uncomfortable.

He asked, can’t we use hands instead of hair? I also felt that we were going a little overboard. I said ok then we will do it like this. After this Karishma called me to the corner.

Dharmesh Darshan further says- Karishma took me to the corner. He requested me to do this scene absolutely. They don’t have any problem. Karisma said that I have seen my grandfather (Raj Kapoor) doing this. Forget about films, have seen it in real life also.

As soon as Karishma said this, I went to Aamir. I said that Aamir will do this now… Now you directly shoot the hair pulling scene. Aamir always thought with his head, whereas Karisma Kapoor used to think with her heart.

On June 2, 1988, Raj Kapoor, known as the showman of Bollywood, died.

Aamir drank alcohol to make the scenes look real
There is another story related to the song ‘Tere Ishq Mein Nachenge’. It is said that Aamir drank a lot of alcohol to make the scene real. Actually, in this song, Aamir had to act like dancing in an intoxicated state.

Aamir took this scene too seriously and got drunk. The next morning he was very nervous. However, when he saw the recorded scene, he heaved a sigh of relief.
