Karwa Chauth 2023: Astrologer Suggests Colours Women Should Wear As Per Their Zodiac Sign – News18

The auspicious festival of Karwa Chauth, also known as Karak Chaturthi, will be observed on November 1. Karwa Chauth is celebrated during the Krishna Paksha Chaturthi of the month of Kartik. The married women observe the festival for the longevity, security and good health of their husbands. During this festival, married women keep fast without having food or water throughout the day. Only after seeing the moon, are they fed water and food by their husbands to break their fast.

Speaking to News18, Deoghar’s famous astrologer Pandit Nandkishore Mudgal said that during this fast there are rituals which should be performed carefully. He also mentioned that for the occasion, it is also important for married women to deck themselves in beautiful traditional Indian attire, and put on their heavy Indian jewellery. The astrologer also shared about the auspicious colours according to the zodiac signs for the occasion. Here is the list:

Aries: The zodiac sign’s lord is Mars. Therefore, women with zodiac signs should wear a red colour saree, bindi and bangles on the day.

Taurus: According to the astrologer, women who have the Taurus zodiac sign should wear yellowish or golden sarees and bangles.

Gemini: Women who are from the Gemini house should wear a dark green saree and bangles on the auspicious day.

Cancer: For the cancer zodiac sign, married women should wear a dark red saree and bangles on Karwa Chauth.

Leo: Women of this zodiac sign should wear blood-red colour sarees and bangles for the day.

Virgo: Married women who are observing fast on Karwa Chauth should wear a dark green saree and bangles.

Libra: Women with this zodiac sign should wear a pink colour saree and bangles on the day.

Scorpio: On the day of Karwa Chauth, wearing light maroon-coloured sarees and bangles is considered auspicious for women from the Scorpio zodiac sign.

Sagittarius: It will be auspicious for women of this zodiac sign to wear a golden colour saree bangle and bindi on this day.

Capricorn: Brown colour is most auspicious for people of this zodiac sign.
