Ordnance Factory Recruitment 2023: Application Open For 119 DBW Posts; Check Last Date – News18

The basic pay for the DBW posts in the Ordnance Factory for 2023 is around Rs 19,900, with additional Dearness Allowance (DA).
Ordnance Factory Khamaria, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh has begun the recruitment process for 119 posts of tenure based DBW (Danger Building Worker). Recently, it released the detailed notification under the section Employment News (04-10) November 2023. Eligible candidates, who are interested in seeking recruitment under the given post, are advised to visit the official website and apply on or before November 21, 2023.
Those applying for the position must have been an ex-apprentice of AOCP trade (NCTVT), while also having Ordnance Factories training/experience in manufacturing and handling of military ammunition and explosives, along with the additional eligibility as per the notification released by the association.
Age Limit
It is mandatory to note that candidates should be of minimum 18 years, whereas the maximum age limit has been set to be 35 years for the General category, as of October 20, 2023. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will attain the benefits of age relaxations as per the guidelines of the government.

Selection Process
Notably, the selection of candidates will be done solely on the basis of the marks obtained in the NCTVT and the Trade Test/Practical test. These marks will be arranged in order of merit to evaluate the final result. Ordnance Factory Khamaria, first of all, starts with declaring a cut-off percentage based on total NCTVT marks, which further decides the candidates that are eligible for the Trade Test.
The Trade Test is likely to occur a month after the advertisement’s closure. This test holds a great value as it holds a weightage of 100 marks. In the end, a merit list will be formulated which is prepared by combining scores from both the NCTVT Exam and the Trade Test/Practical Test.
