Vicky Kaushal Pokes Fun At Katrina Kaif When Asked To Name Favourite Actress: ‘Ghar Pe Kalesh Nahi…’ – News18

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif tied the knot in December 2021.

Vicky Kaushal spoke about his favourite actor and actress at a promotional event for his upcoming film Sam Bahadur.

Vicky Kaushal is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sam Bahadur. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, emphasising his sacrifices for the nation. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 1 this year. Vicky Kaushal is leaving no stone unturned to promote the film.

Recently, Vicky met with the 6 Sikh Regiment of the Indian Army and answered their questions. One of the jawans asked Vicky who his favourite actress was beside his wife Katrina Kaif. Vicky had a hilarious reply to this question. He said in Punjabi, “Paaji, ek jawab ke chakkar main ghar pe kalesh nahi karaunga. Mujhe aur koi actress dikhti hi nahi hai. Ek hi hai. Mera mission bhi bilkul army ki tarah hi hai, jo mission hai phir vahi hai (I will not risk getting into a fight at home because of an answer. I can’t see any other actresses, there is only one. Like the army, I also focus on my mission).”

Vicky continued, “Male actors main jiski baat karni hai karlo (You can talk about any male actor you want).” He was then asked who his favourite male actor was. Vicky said, “Male actor, Bachchan sahab toh hamesha, mera sapna bhi hai ki kabhi unke saath kaam karne ka mauka mile (Amitabh Bachchan, always. It is also my dream to work with him).”

Sam Bahadur is one of Vicky Kaushal’s most-talked-about projects. For the unversed, Sam Manekshawan’s career in the army spanned over four decades and five wars. He was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and his military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war led to the creation of Bangladesh.

Sam Bahadur also stars Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick (as Lord Mountbatten), Richard Bhakti Klein (as Ambassador Keating), Saqib Ayub (Captain Attiqur Rahman) and Krishna Kant Singh Bundela (as Subedar Gurbaksh Singh) in key roles. It is set to hit theatres on December 1.
