APPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2023: The registration process for the 81 posts will begin on January 1 and conclude on January 21. Candidates can check the notification on psc.ap.gov.in
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission APPSC has released the notification for the recruitment of Group 1 posts. The registration process for the 81 posts will begin on January 1 and conclude on January 21. Candidates can check the notification on the official website of APPSC at psc.ap.gov.in.
The selection process for the recruitment drive comprises of preliminary exam which will be conducted on March 17. The exam features objective type and OMR-based questions. It will be held in the offline mode. Candidates who clear the prelims exam will be shortlisted for the mains exam, the date of which will be announced later. The main exam will consist of descriptive-type questions.
APPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2023: How to apply
Step 1 – Go to psc.ap.gov.in.
Step 2 – Click on the APPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2023 link
Step 3 – Register yourself
Step 4 – Pay the application fees
Step 5 – Save and download an acknowledgment copy for further need.
APPSC has also released the Group 2 notification for a total of 897 executive and non-executive posts. This includes 331 executive and 566 non-executive posts. The application process for these posts will start from December 21. The last date to register is January 10.
Eligible candidates with a degree can apply for these posts. The Group 2 preliminary exam will be conducted on February 25 next year. The preliminary exam will be of 150 marks. In the screening exam, questions will be asked from Indian history, geography, Indian society, current affairs, and mental ability. A new topic of social science has been added to it this year. Each section has 30 marks.
Those who qualify the preliminary exam will have to appear in the mains exam. It consists of two papers in total. Each paper is allotted 150 marks. A decision has been made to make computer qualification mandatory for those competing for these jobs. Computer Proficiency Certificate is mandatory for Group-2 and Group-3 recruitment.
