Donkey fame actor Vikram Kochhar told why action films are playing so much these days. Vikram said that in today's time wars are happening everywhere. People are fighting each other. There is a frustration in everyone's mind.

There is an atmosphere of unrest everywhere. In such a situation, people are seeing themselves in action films. They are satisfying themselves by watching such films. However, filmmakers should think about what they have to show to the audience and what not.

What are the reasons behind the success of films like Gadar-2, Pushpa and Animal? Talking to Home Bollywood, Vikram said- Today people in the country do not like to see each other. There are fights going on in every corner of the world. Insensitivity and anger among people has increased considerably. Perhaps this is why people are enjoying action thriller films.

It is not right to show only massacre on screen
Vikram further said- A friend of mine talked to me a lot. He said that today many people want power but they are not able to get it. When they watch such films, they start imagining themselves in them.

However, such films and those who make them also have some responsibilities. You watch Satyajit Ray's films. A lot of people won't like his movies. Just because people want to see a massacre, does not mean that they should be shown that thing. If you are only showing scenes in which throats are being cut, then think about what you are trying to show.

Obviously, this year four Hindi films have crossed the Rs 500 crore mark. These four films are action thrillers. Pathan, Jawan, Gadar-2 and Animal have collected Rs 500 crore this year only in Hindi language.
