Jhanvi Kapoor spoke on the demise of mother Sridevi: Said in KWK-8- 'I was on the phone and the sound of crying was coming from Khushi's room'

Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were seen in Karan Johar's chat show 'Coffee with Karan-8'. In the chat show, Jhanvi became emotional while talking about the demise of her mother Sridevi. She told in the show- I was in my room when I got a call and I could hear Khushi crying. I ran to his room crying but I remember as soon as he looked at me he immediately stopped crying.

She sat beside me and started calming me down. After that day I never saw him cry. On this, Khushi Kapoor said- I felt that I have to handle myself for everyone because I feel that I have always been strong.

Some habits of happiness come from mother

Taking her point further, Jhanvi said that there are some common habits between mother and Khushi. He said- Khushi is a person of very calm nature and I think she and Mama have similar habits. After this she starts crying.

After this Khushi said- I felt that he would have to strengthen himself for the family. I have to handle all this. Because I think I have always been the strongest in the family.

When did Sridevi die?

Sridevi died on February 24, 2018, due to drowning in the bathtub in a hotel room in Dubai. Let us tell you that she had gone to Dubai with her family to attend Mohit Marwah's wedding.

Boney Kapoor talked about Sridevi's demise

In an old interview, Boney had said – It was not a natural death but an accidental death. I had decided not to speak about it, because I had talked about it for about 24 or 48 hours when I was being investigated and interrogated.

Boney further said, 'Actually, the officers told us that they had to do so much questioning because there was a lot of pressure from the Indian media, and in the end they found out that there was no lie in it. During this time I went through all kinds of tests, which even included lie detector test (Polygraph). And then, of course, the report that came clearly said it was accidental.

Sridevi always wanted to look good- Boney Kapoor
Boney told in the interview that Sridevi was on diet even at the time of her death. He said- 'Sridevi was often hungry, she wanted to look good. She wanted to make sure that she was in good condition so that she could look good on screen.
Ever since we got married, he had blackouts on a few occasions and the doctors kept saying that he had low blood pressure.
