Anil Kapoor was seen in Big B's film Shakti: Said- No one could see the small role; People left the theater without seeing me

Amitabh Bachchan worked with Dilip Kumar in the 1982 film Shakti. Anil Kapoor was also seen in a small role in this film, but no one noticed him. No one even knew about this for a long time.

A few years ago, Anil Kapoor was seen in the show Kaun Banega Crorepati. During this, he shared an anecdote related to the film Shakti. He played the role of Big B's son in the film. When this role was offered to him directly by Ramesh Sippy, he was very happy. He had told, 'I had scenes at only two places in the film. One was at the very beginning of the film, the other was when Dilip Kumar Sahab shoots Amitabh Bachchan.

Most of the people had reached the theater late, due to which they missed the first scene. Secondly, after your (Big Hee) character got shot, no one stayed in the theater.

On the bullet scene, the audience said – Hey, what film should we watch now? Amit ji, whom I had come to see, has passed away.

Before Anil, Big B was offered Mr. India

Anil Kapoor became a big star overnight with the film Mr. India. But, before Anil's name was confirmed for this film, the film was offered to Big B. According to Anita Pandey's book Yehi Rang Yehi Roop, Amitabh Bachchan believed that he would not play the role of the invisible man. The writer of the film Salim Javed believed that Big B's voice would be perfect for the character, but Big B did not agree with this.

The film Shakti was not a hit at the box office.

The film Shakti was released in theaters on 22 September 1982. Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Rakhi, Smita Patil, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Amrish Puri and Anil Kapoor worked in the film. The story of the film was written by Salim-Javed.

The film was well received by critics, although its box office numbers were not very good. The songs of the film 'Humne Sanam Ko Khat Likha' and 'Jaane Kaise Kab Kahan' still remain on people's tongues.

Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor have worked together in some films. However, in most of the films the scenes between the two have been very less. Only in Honey Irani's film Armaan did they share a long screen space together.
