Ben Affleck was surprised when Jennifer Lopez sold the love letters written by him to music directors for her upcoming documentary This Is Me… Now: A Love Story.
Ben Affleck was taken aback by his wife-singer Jennifer Lopez’s decision to publicly display all the love letters that the actor wrote to her. Reports claim that Lopez who is geared up for the release of her Amazon Prime documentary This Is Me… Now: A Love Story, sold the letters to music directors as an inspiration for the upcoming project. The film is slated to premiere on February 16, which also marks the release date of JLo’s much-awaited ninth studio album This Is Me… Now. This Is Me… Now: A Love Story will show Lopez on a journey of love, loss, and healing with a focus on her past romantic relationships.
According to a report by Variety, in a preview of the documentary, Jennifer Lopez was seen inviting musicians to her residence. The singer-actress gave them access to the love letters she received from Ben Affleck. In a sudden turn of fate, Affleck walked in at that moment, only to find the letters being “passed around”. The Gone Girl actor previously named the bunch of love letters as The Greatest Love Story Never Told. Surprised to witness it all, Afflex spoke to the camera, “I did really find the beauty and the poetry and the irony in the fact that it’s the greatest love story never told. If you’re making a record about it, that seems kind of like telling it.”

In one of the glimpses of the This Is Me… Now: A Love Story trailer Jennifer Lopez was seen sitting on a couch near a fireplace, completely drenched in rain. She was reading a letter dated December 24, 2002, that read, “Life’s tough but you’re sweet. Thanks for the gift. Hope you like the flowers. You told me you could never have enough. I believe you.” Although there was no indication that the note was from Ben Affleck, at the bottom of the letter was signed by someone who had a “B” initial. It indirectly indicated that it was from Affleck.
Ben Affleck joined Jennifer Lopez for the special screening of This Is Me… Now: A Love Story in Los Angeles on February 13. Twinning in black ensembles, Affleck was seen clicking photos of his wife with a beaming smile on his face. As per the pictures doing the rounds on the internet, the couple also engaged in some PDA on the red carpet.
