Late night near Gopinathpuram in the capital, Gangaghat Kotwali of Unnao, there was an argument between the contractor of the municipality and two BJP councilors regarding development works and tenders. In which the contractor along with his associates had badly beaten a BJP Dalit councilor and two councilors. On the complaint of Dalit councilor, a case of Dalit harassment and assault has been registered against three named persons including the contractor and fifteen others.
