With the aim of providing pure drinking water to the people in Shravasti district, work is going on at a fast pace in many Gram Panchayats under the Piped Drinking Water Scheme. Under which drinking water connections are also being provided to the people. In the same sequence, the DM conducted a surprise inspection and took stock of the ongoing piped drinking water works in Chahalwa. Till now, drinking water connections have been given to 1395 out of 1400 houses in this village.
