Social media has greatly helped diminish borders and enabled content creators, and online users from all over the world to connect without any restriction. As communication across cultures has developed, individuals have become interested in exploring each other’s way of life. Similarly, foreigners are quite intrigued to know India beyond its tourist spots, and social media has made it possible. Among other aspects like food and clothing, what has caught on the most is the love for Bollywood films and songs. Popular Japanese content creator Kake Taku’s latest reel, where he performs the song Zindagi Tere Naam from Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming film Yodha, is going viral.

Kake Taku showed off his dramatic side in the video, where he was seen dancing on the streets of Japan and lip-syncing Zindagi Tere Naam. He wore a yellow shirt and olive-coloured trousers. The content creator finished off his appearance with a brick-coloured jacket. The caption read, “, “YODHA : Zindagi Tere Naam from Japan.” The song, composed by Vishal Mishra and Kaushal Kishore, is currently dominating on all social media platforms.

Soon after the reel was posted, the composer, Vishal Mishra, took notice of his performance and dropped heart emojis in the comments section. The content creator expressed his gratitude to the composer and wrote, “Thanks for making such a great song.”

Not only the composer, but many Bollywood fans flooded the comments section and appreciated the content creator for his recreation. A user wrote, “Why is everything perfect…Your hair, look, clothes, background and dance,” while another simply mentioned, “Wow just looking like a wow bro.”

A curious netizen asked the Japanese content creator, “Aap ko hindi aati hai.” while many others inquired about his affliction towards the Hindi film industry. “Hi! I didn’t know Bollywood was so popular in Japan. By the way, do you also watch movies with Shah Rukh Khan?” asked a user. Many also suggested that he try performing Tamil or Kannada songs.

Meanwhile, Yodha is the next significant cooperation between Amazon Prime, Dharma Productions, and Sidharth Malhotra. The action film, directed by debutante Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, follows the story of Arun Katyal, the commanding commander of an elite unit called the Yodha Task Force, on a dramatic rescue operation. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani. Yodha, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, will be released in theatres on March 15.
