The incident is said to have taken place around 8 am, when a leopard was found trapped in the wires installed to protect crops around the fields near the forest, about 800 meters away from the village. The Forest Department was informed about this. Forest worker Kamlesh’s hands also got injured while trying to remove the leopard from the trapped wire.
There is a discussion among the local people that current is also passed through the wires installed around the field, so it is possible that the leopard was trapped and struggling all night due to the current. At the same time, the negligence of the forest department is also coming to the fore after the death of the leopard. People say that if the forest workers had patrolled the forest at night, the leopard would not have died.
