Amazing confluence of art from different states
This time, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are going on to make the Mahakumbh wonderful and supernatural. Assistant Director, Handicraft Service Center Prayagraj Tanya Banerjee said that in the Mahakumbh, preparations are being made to give a wonderful performance of 100 prominent craftsmen of India in front of 45 crore people of the country and the world. One District-One Product will be the main center of attraction in the exhibition. Here a wonderful confluence of art from different states of the country will be seen.
Pashmina shawls of Jammu and Kashmir will make headlines
During the Mahakumbh, handicrafts ranging from soft stones from Banaras to Pashmina shawls from Jammu and Kashmir will be available in the exhibition. Apart from this, Moonj craft of Prayagraj, Sajar stone of Banda, Gaura stone of Mahoba, soft toys of Jhansi, Chanderi sarees of Madhya Pradesh and Banarasi sarees of Kashi will also attract people.
Under ODOP in Mahakumbh, elephant inside elephant and similar artworks will be exhibited by making eight layers of it one by one. Apart from this, the famous wooden toys of Chitrakoot and Kashi will especially attract you.
This artwork of Ram Darbar has been prepared by hand.
Women will like Firozabad bangles
Special care has also been taken for the preferences of women. Under this, bangles and glass utensils of Firozabad and special embroidered Chamba handkerchief of Himachal Pradesh will also be there. Apart from this, there are terracotta from Gorakhpur, black pottery from Nizamabad Azamgarh, carpets from Bhadohi, horn decorative items from Saharanpur, woolen textiles from Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Phulkari and Rajasthani shoes from Punjab, besides bamboo artefacts from Bareilly and brass from Moradabad. Items like this will be a special attraction.
