In Hardoi, the car of the devotees returning after bathing at Naimisharanya crushed the people collecting wood on the side of the road. Due to this, a middle aged man died on the spot, while his daughter and two more children were injured. Meanwhile, the local people took the car driver hostage.

Due to the accident, there was a traffic jam on Sitapur Road. The police, who arrived after being informed of the incident, took the car into their custody and after pacifying the villagers, took the driver into custody. It has been reported that Balram (55) son of Bhikhari, a resident of Sikrohri of Tariyawan police station, was collecting wood that had fallen due to the storm on Sitapur Road near the village with his 16-year-old daughter Manju on Thursday morning.

Along with them were Sandeep’s 3 year old son Kartik and Luvkush’s 5 year old son Aryan. Meanwhile, a Bolero car carrying devotees returning from Naimisharanya after taking a bath crushed them. Seeing the accident, people present nearby ran and stopped the Bolero. On the other hand, the injured Balram had died on the spot, while his daughter Manju and Kartik and Aryan were lying in injured condition.

They were immediately sent to the medical college for treatment. After the incident, the angry villagers tied the hands and legs of the car driver and held him hostage. The incident was reported to the police station. After this, SHO Tadiyawan Ashok Kumar Singh reached there with his team and took the Bolero into their possession and detained the driver and started investigating the accident.
