A new hostel will be built for MBBS students and interns in the medical college.

A new hostel will be built for MBBS students and interns in the Medical College in Ayodhya. The medical college administration has marked the land for this. Steemit has been sought from the Government Construction Corporation to build a hostel with a capacity of 200. After completing the process, the proposal will be sent to the government for approval. MBBS classes have started in the medical college from the year 2019. At present, five batches of 100 students each are running here. Arrangements to provide them residential facilities are inadequate. Till now, only 200 capacity hostels have been built here. There can be 64 girls and 120 boys among them. The rest are interns and junior residents. Whereas, some Type-3 residences have also been allotted to MBBS students. The accommodation is inadequate for students and interns to reside. The situation is such that two-three students have to live in each room. Due to this they also have to face many problems. If a batch passes out in this session, they will have to do internship here. In such a situation, it is challenging to provide residential facilities to 100 more children. Keeping these problems in mind, the Medical College Administration has now started preparations. Dr. Gyanendra Kumar, Principal of the Medical College, said, “The process of building a hostel of 200 capacity in the Darshan Nagar Hospital campus is going on. Land has been marked for this. As soon as the preliminary estimate is received from the Government Construction Corporation, it is sent to the government for approval.” Will go.
