According to the police, Ghure Baba (65), son of Banshi, is a resident of Jaitpura Varanasi, who currently lives near the Shiva temple on Chopan Railway Station Road. On Saturday at around 10 am, he suddenly went to the flyover in front of the Kailash temple, placed wood in front of him and sat down in a posture with a lemon stuck in the trident.

He was just sitting quietly in a posture. Meanwhile, someone informed the police. After this the police came into action. They immediately reached the spot and took the Sadhu Baba to the police station. Where on questioning, Baba did not tell anything. He just kept talking about this and that. After some time, the police gave instructions to Baba and took him to his place. On the other hand, this high voltage drama of the Sadhu became a topic of discussion in the city.

Tree branches were removed from the road

It was a blessing that the priest did not come under the grip of an uncontrolled vehicle, otherwise a major accident could not have been ruled out. Dial 112 reached the spot and inquired about the entire incident from the priest. Meanwhile, the police reached the spot on information and took the priest with them to the police station and cleared the traffic by removing the branches of the tree from the road. SI Umashankar, who reached the spot, said that the priest has been brought to the police station to avoid an untoward incident. The priest’s statements will be heard.

Efforts are being made to get more information from him. At present, the traffic is running smoothly, there is no problem.
